The Engineers Club of Baltimore began as a place for engineers to gather and exchange ideas. It wasn’t until their 1963 acquisition of the Garrett-Jacobs Mansion that the Engineers Club became a favorite location for weddings.
The Garrett-Jacobs Mansion comes from an era when homes were lavish displays of wealth and entertaining at home was an art form. Unfortunately after the death of the owners the home had a number of owners and renters who let it fall into disrepair and by the 1960s the city planned to destroy it but through the Engineers Club the home was preserved and became a historic structure of great significance in the area.
Today the Garrett-Jacobs Mansion (Engineers Club ) is the perfect location for a special occasion, such as a wedding. The elegant home is full of attractive antiques, a warm atmosphere, stunning backdrops and a staff that is there to cater to your every whim.
